Driving in Europe

When driving in Europe it’s important to remember that each country has its own driving laws, many of which differ to those in the UK. Before travelling to any foreign country it is important

to read up on the documentation you need, speed limits and other regulations.

In addition to the regulations applicable in individual countries, the following is a guide to accessories you either must have, or are highly recommended when motoring in Europe.

Headlight Beam Deflectors
Spare Bulbs & Fuses These are a requirement in many countries, and are handy to have, just in case.
GB Sticker For your vehicle and any caravan or trailer you are towing.
Emergency Triangle
Fire Extinguisher Useful whichever country you are in.
First Aid Kit Required in some countries, but better to be safe than sorry.
Tow Rope
Spare Fuel Can Legal in some countries, illegal in others. If you are going to the latter remember to empty it into your tank before entering. Note it is illegal to run out of fuel on the German motorway.

If you have any questions or need any spares and accessories,

we will be pleased to help.
